Great finds are meant to be shared and this is one of my favourites. I first heard about Lifehacker from a very bubbly fundraising instructor taking over my night class, who described it as a guilty pleasure and a habit she found impossible to control. This might sound funny considering this is website meant to increase your productivity but it can definitely be a bit of a rabbit hole when you first encounter it. Trust me, though – it’s good stuff. If you’re going to spend hours on the Internet, this is one of the best places to do it. You still won’t get anything done while you’re spending your evening compulsively clicking on articles, but at least you’ll equip yourself with the tools to make your life function better when you emerge from behind your computer screen.

Tips: Lifehacker is great but it’s not the most user-friendly site to navigate if you’re actually looking for something. Check out their handy index page if it’s your first time visiting, which tells you how to find things. I would also recommend subscribing to the blog and/or following them on social media. That way you’ll get a regular dose of awesome life hacks without having to navigate their massive library of posts without, you know, an actual navigation menu 😉
Here are their social media links, since they don’t have them prominently listed on their blog (they might have others; these are just the ones I know of and use myself):
